E:JECT is an extraordinary gadget that launches a regular Sharpie up to four meters into the air at the touch of a button.
Every performer needs a Sharpie during their set—and now you have the most entertaining way ever created to introduce one.
E:JECT offers a unique, visual, and ridiculously easy method for creating an unforgettable moment.
Roddy McGhie & Noel Qualter put in the time, effort, and expense to produce a fully injection-moulded gimmick built to last. No cheap 3D printing here—this little beast is rock solid. You can adjust the height and precisely control the firing moment with a wireless remote. Want to shoot the pen completely hands-free? It also comes with a bicep strap that lets you launch the Sharpie from seemingly empty hands. And for safety, a double-locking mechanism ensures E:JECT only fires when you want it to.
This is suitable for every type of performer.
Close-up magician? Fire a Sharpie out of your breast pocket and catch it triumphantly mid-air.
Parlor or stage act? Toss the Sharpie into your case—only to have it fly right back to you.
Kids’ entertainer? Introduce the idea of portals: drop a pen into a bag on one side of the stage, and watch it shoot out of a different bag on the other side!
You could even create a routine where a deck of cards is tossed into a bag, a Sharpie is thrown in after it, and moments later the Sharpie leaps out—with the selected card impaled on it.
E:JECT was soft-launched at MAGIC: Live 2025, and it had everyone talking. And we mean everyone: Matt Franco, Piff, Justin Willman, Eric Tait, Anna Deguzman, John Archer, Jack Rhodes, Charlie Frye, Henry Harrius, and Joao Miranda all picked up E:JECT. Now it’s your turn…!
