A wonderful card routine that starts out looking like an ordinary card trick, but develops into a surprising, romantic and very personal experience for two people. Perfect for a couple at a wedding, for example.
Here's what happens
1. They find each other!
You invite a couple to participate. They each select a playing card, which is shuffled back into the deck. You then hand the cards over to the couple – and from this moment on, you never touch the deck again.
While looking deeply into each other's eyes, they deal cards from the deck. They decide entirely for themselves where to deal from, how many cards to deal, and when to stop.
Almost impossibly, they end up finding each other's cards! And as an added surprise, it turns out they have selected a King and a Queen. How appropriate!
2. Two people – one magical connection
The couple each write their initials on the back of their respective cards and cover them with their hands.
When the man lifts his hand, his initials have mysteriously vanished! And when the woman lifts hers, she discovers that both sets of initials are now together on the back of her card! The two have literally been united – even on the playing cards!
3. The King moves in with his Queen
And NOW comes the grand finale.
You hold both cards openly in view and explain that since the couple belong together in real life, surely the same should apply to the King and Queen.
And right before everyone's eyes, something incredible happens: The King slowly and visibly vanishes from his playing card! No cover, no flaps, and no suspicious moves.
When the Queen's card is turned over, the King is now sitting right beside her – both together on the same playing card!
The two magically transformed cards, still bearing the couple's genuine initials, can immediately be handed over as a very special keepsake of the experience.
