The magician writes a prediction on a piece of paper, which is folded and placed in front of the spectator. He then shows a small, black cov er with 5 lines on it. He explains that inside the case is a card with 5 different symbols - so-called ESP signs - one under each line. The spectator is now given a pair of scissors and asked to cut the at any of the lines. The choice is completely free! The paper is taken out so that everyone can see which symbol was cut. The spectator unfolds the prediction - where exactly the same symbol has been drawn!
