MELTING BALL ILLUSION

The performer displays a small wooden tube, a wooden sword and a solid steel ball,. The tube has a slit in the middle for the sword to pass through separating the tube in two.

First it is demonstrated, that the ball falls right through the empty tube, but when the sword is passed through the middle, it naturally blocks the ball from falling.

But that is only the magician has made a few magic gestures over the ball. The it magicially goes right through the solid sword - several times!
