Perhaps you remember Paul Daniels' brilliant Chop Cup routine? At the latest ILLUSIONS Magic Festival in Horsens, Denmark, several different Chop Cup routines were also performed. This simple piece of magic has entertained audiences for decades – and it still does!
With a Chop Cup, you can make a ball vanish, reappear, and mysteriously travel in and out of the cup. The secret lies in its clever magnetic construction, allowing you to perform a variety of surprising effects. And, of course, you can finish by producing a large ball, a piece of fruit, or something else that seems far too big to have been hiding inside the cup!

Many years ago, we sold a popular Wide Mouth Chop Cup made by the now-defunct Canadian company Morrissey. It was larger than traditional Chop Cups, making it easier to see from a distance and providing plenty of room for an impressive final load. We've missed having a cup like that in our range – until now!
This new Orange Wide Mouth Chop Cup measures 9.5 cm across the opening and stands 9.5 cm tall. It's a great choice for close-up magic, table-hopping, and small stage shows where the audience needs to follow the action from a little further away.
The cup comes complete with two red balls – one magnetic and one regular – giving you the essential equipment to start developing your own routine.
