THE KEY RING PUZZLE

Here is one of those delightful tricks that can almost drive your spectators crazy.

From your keychain, you take a large front-door key. Then you borrow a finger ring from a spectator. You take the ring and the key behind your back for a moment, and when you bring them forward again, the ring is now sitting right in the middle of the key. The spectators may examine it as thoroughly as they wish. The ring cannot be removed!

In the end, the spectators must give up and hand the key back to you. You take it behind your back once more, and shortly after you can return the ring to its owner and let the key be examined closely.

The special key has been produced by our friend Arsene Lupin in Poland. It can be presented either as a magic trick in which the spectator’s vanished ring appears on the key, or as a mind-twisting puzzle.
