This unique apparatus was created by the French company Magic Clover Shop, renowned for their handcrafted props inspired by 19th-century spiritualism, occultism, and classic French magic history. The piece appears as an authentic antique object — as if discovered in an old attic, surrounded by mystery and history.
The cabinet was originally purchased specifically for the theatrical production “Titanic – The Truth” by Peter Aude, performed over two seasons at Teater Magica in Copenhagen. In the show, the apparatus was presented as the Titanic’s Morse telegraph cabinet belonging to radio operator Jack Phillips, who transmitted the ship’s final distress calls on the night of the disaster. During the presentation, the audience witnesses something seemingly inexplicable manifest itself — for example, an object suddenly being knocked from the cabinet by an unseen force.
The cabinet, featuring its built-in secret mechanism, comes with a compass, matchbox, jar, and several additional props for dressing and staging the cabinet. In addition, you will receive:
- a detailed script and presentation
- the original story of Jack Phillips and the Titanic
- posters and memorabilia from the production
A powerful dramatic framework and a rare, atmospheric prop for séance performances, storytelling, bizarre magic, theatre, or intimate audience experiences. This small Spirit Cabinet has since been discontinued from the Magic Clover Shop catalog and can no longer be purchased new.
Please note: The Morse key shown in the last photo is not part of the effect and is not included.
