We are pleased to introduce the traditional Multiplying Nested Candles.
These are the very candles Tim Star has used in his professional performances—together with the Star Candles—for more than 35 years. The craftsmanship and quality far exceed that of any previously manufactured multiplying candle. Each candle measures 10 cm in height and is constructed from solid brass, resulting in a highly durable and practical design that performs flawlessly in real-world conditions.
The candles are first treated with an epoxy primer and then finished with a high-quality white urethane paint, the same type used in automotive finishes. This fine set is handmade in Sweden by Tim Star.
Effect
The magician produces a single burning candle and, in an astonishingly clean and visual manner, causes it to multiply into four burning candles between the fingers. The candles are then vanished one by one in a mysterious and elegant sequence.
Only a minimum of sleight of hand is required. The routine may be performed with rolled-up sleeves and is executed using one hand only. With a little practice, a second set may be used in the opposite hand to double the visual impact.
