The magician places two pyramids on the table, each made from four stacked dice of different sizes. A spectator is invited to participate. Both the magician and the spectator cover their pyramid with a sleeve and lift everything in their hands before turning it upside down.

When the sleeves are removed, something impossible has happened: the magician’s pyramid is always perfectly arranged from the largest die at the bottom to the smallest on top. The spectator’s pyramid, however, is always completely reversed!
